GOLD METAL WATERS A lake or stream that supports a trout standing stock of at least 60 pounds per acre and contains an average of at least 12 quality trout per acre. Quality trout is defined as any trout 14 inches or longer in length. Gold Medal waters may be stocked with hatchery reared trout.
PRIVATE WATERS Areas of streams that are not open to the general public, and require special permission or ownership rights to access. Most of these streams see little to no outside fishing pressure and present outstanding opportunities for abundant and/or trophy fish.

Throughout the year, members of the Rio Grande Club retreat to the Fishing Lodge for entertaining and recreating in a comfortable, intimate setting. Family gatherings, birthday parties, barbeques and weddings / rehearsal dinners are frequent activities hosted in the Fishing Lodge.
